FOR THE BEST RESULTS
Clean the area well. (Alcohol does wonders!) and make sure the vehicle hasn’t been sitting in the sun or hot in any way
GET IT ON STRAIGHT
You can use a piece of masking tape or blue painters tape to make a straight line under (or over) where your Jeep Name will go, to help you line it up straight.
THERE IS NO RE-APPLYING
You got ONE shot, so make sure it is EXACTLY where you want it BEFORE the sticky backing of the Vinyl touches your vehicle. It will not come back off without stretching it or destroying it.
You can spray some (slightly soapy) water on the area first if you want. Then you will be able to adjust the decal bit to get it straight. Just make sure you use the included plastic squeegee to scrape ALL the water out. (or a credit card or something similar.)
The longer a decal is, the more you need to get it exactly straight. A 6 inch decal being slightly off, might not be that noticeable…. But a 20 inch long decal at that same angle, will look WAY crooked.
