When I was about 10, I used to take my allowance and buy candy at the corner store on the walk to school... ( in the snow, uphill both ways....just kidding!) then I would break the packs apart and sell the pieces at school. I was making a 7:1 ROI at 10 years old. I did this until they nearly kicked me out of school for it.
Fast forward 15 years, and I started earning my marketing, sales and business management/consulting stripes in a bold way- by creating
a superhero-themed cafe when I was just 25 years old, in one of the toughest markets in North America.

From the beginning I was always an entrepreneur and I always loved business. Jonnyboy's Cafe was just the launching point for creating a practical
philosophy and a team building system that inspires and engages employees in wealth creation and corporate prosperity. It wasn't easy, but Jonnyboy's Cafe ended up being so successful that after a couple years, I first turned it over to a staff member, while I took a position as the Food & Beverage Director for Crown Plaza Hotels (I needed another project/challenge) - and next, sold it for three times my initial investment.
This is where I first realized that I love to create and build businesses and help them grow, but then I want to go do it again for someone else.
With excellent prospecting, planning and management skills, I made the transition to the automotive marketing field. 2 short years later, my wife and I launched the next business that we currently still run and own, SEVEN MEDIA GROUP INC. dba: Mail Ninjas. (www.mailninjas.com)
With each new business venture - especially the first ones, which were opened on a shoestring budget - I had to do a lot of learning to make things work, because often I didn't have the money to hire someone to do it. Over the years I became very good at quite a few programs (Photoshop and other creative & design programs being my favorite) and had a wealth of marketing knowledge, much of it from personal experience of running my own businesses.
Around that time, I still felt the desire to build, so I launched my next company, ICON ENTERPRISES. dba: Get Iconic. (www.geticonic.com) When I launched Get Iconic, our main services were for new budding entrepreneurs and consisted of: website design, logo design, list building and email marketing.
Over the last decade - and as the world and technology evolved - so did Get Iconic.
We now offer incredible updated & modern versions of our original offerings, as well as a whole host of other digital services that not only help businesses and entrepreneurs succeed, but also take a lot of stress off of them by being their consulting partner. Not only a partner that knows what to do to help, but actually does it FOR them and frees up some of their time..which is truly the help that the modern business owner these days desires. Because with more time and less stress, their entire lives - not just their businesses- are truly elevated.
